Peter had just witnessed something impossible. A man who had never walked in his life — carried to the temple gate every single day — suddenly leaped to his feet. The crowd was stunned. They looked at Peter and John with wide eyes.
Peter's response was immediate: Don't look at us.
This is the heart of what we do here. We don't pray because we are powerful. Whatever happens next is entirely His.
